| What is this website about? It's all about making movies for as little money possible. Most Indie Film websites cater to the filmmaker with the $100,000 and up budget. They are for the Producer who will be filing for a SAG waiver, getting permits, and planning on releasing their film to theaters after the film sells to a Studio. | ||
| I have a great respect for those filmmakers, but there is more to Indie Films than that. There are also Guerilla films being made all the time, and these are the films that I mostly work on. These are movies being made for under $20,000. They are made with no permits, no Unions, and the best they can hope for is a DVD release, or some screenings at Film Festivals. | ||
| Being in the Indie Film community here in NY, I've seen a lot of people busting ass trying to get their films made. I've seen them skip parts of the scripts they wrote, because they assumed there was no way possible to shoot certain scenes cheaply. But in reality, there is a HUGE community of Low Budget Filmmakers out there, all looking for a way to network and communicate with each other. | ||

| As of right now, we'll be keeping this website based in the NY/NJ/PA/CT Low Budget scene, but if there is need, we can expand it for other communities. | ||
